Quiet Your Mind.

Reset Your Nervous System.

Learn to Navigate Anxiety, Stress and Uncertainty.

‍ ‍

We live in the Age of Noise

You should be able to relax, but your mind won’t turn off. Your body is tired, but your chest feels tight. Conversations replay in your mind. Tomorrow hasn’t even arrived, but your nervous system is already bracing for impact. You tell yourself to relax, but your body doesn’t listen. You try to slow your thoughts, but they only get louder. You scroll. You distract. Maybe a glass of wine. One more episode on Netflix until you finally fall asleep. But even then, sleep doesn’t really feel like rest anymore.

Does this sound familiar?

Hi, I’m Susan Thompson. I bet you don’t need more advice. What you really need is a mind-body system that works again.

Your mind never stops because your brain is scanning for problems, your nervous system is on high alert as it holds your stress, and your awareness is caught inside the noise rather than outside of it.

In my practice, I don’t just help you think differently or better manage your emotions. I show you clear and easy steps to function better in a world filled with stress, uncertainty and pressure about the future.

You will learn to recognize when your mind and body are generating false alarms. You will stop reacting to every thought and feeling and have techniques to quiet your mind and reset your nervous system.

As a licensed psychotherapist, I approach therapy with an empathetic and holistic approach based on evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Restructuring, Exposure Response Therapy (ER) and Somatic Therapies.
